Former members of General Anders’ Polish Corps who refuse to return to Poland and who do not wish to join the Polish Resettlement Corps cannot expect any further help from the British Government, Minister of War Frederick Bellenger announced today in Commons.

This development affects most of the 2,800 Jewish ex-soldiers in the Polish Corps who decline either to go back to Poland or join the Resettlement Corps, and who consequently have experienced difficulty in finding employment.
