Harry Crookshank, leader of the Conservative Party in Commons welcomed the second conference here of leaders of Jewish organizations in the British Commonwealth in the name of the government at a dinner given in his honor and that of Herbert Morrison, deputy leader in Commons of the Labor Party. Mr. Crookshank also brought the delegates of 900,000 Commonwealth Jews the greetings of Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

Mr. Morrison hailed the Board of Deputies of British Jews as a responsible body which had served the Jews and Britain well. He noted that throughout the Commonwealth Jews enjoyed the same privileges and rights as all other citizens and stressed that this brought with it a parallel obligation of citizenship.
