British Act to Curb Illegal Immigration

In order to prevent illegal immigration into Palestine, the government today appointed two officers of the Palestine Secret Police as officials of the Immigration Department.

Nine special policemen have been appointed in the Tulkarem district to guard the seashore. Sixteen British constables under a British officer have been named coast guards in the district of the Jewish colony Herzlia.
