The “Evening News” continue its campaign against the government. In an editorial which appeared yesterday it urges that the government “should clear out of Palestine and the Iraq.”

Criticism of Lord Melchett’s denunciations of the government and the demand that an inquiry into Palestine events be made are voiced simultaneously in an editorial which appears in the “Star.” Lord Melchett’s denunciatory streams of abuse at the Palestine government at the moment when it is striving desperately to recover authority is a dangerous level. It urges an inquiry into the happenings which “besmirch the British flame, and blunder have been made they must be paid for.”
