The Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities reported yesterday its expectation that at least $85,000 will be taken in at its annual dinner and ball, which will be held Sunday night at the Hotel St. George.
Reservations at $50 a plate have been made by 1,700 persons. According to Magistrate David L. Malbin, chairman of the entertainment committee, Eddie Cantor, Milton Berle and Harry Richman will appear and speeches will be tabooed.
