A meeting of the Executive Board of the National Federation of Temple Brotherhoods will be held this Sunday at the Union Temple, 17 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, N. Y. Roger W. Straus, president, will preside. Reports will be submitted by the Secretary and heads of the various national committees including Open Forums, Religious Propaganda, Social Service, Synagogue Attendance, Student Activities, Cooperation, Membership, and Youth Education.

JEWISH WOMEN IN EUROPE WOULD AID JEWISH AGENCY
Interest among Jewish women in Europe in the plan of a Non-Partisan Jewish Agency for the upbuilding of Palestine is wide according to Mrs. Rebekah Kohut. prominent leader among American Jewish women, who returned from a trip to Europe. The plan of allying Jewish women’s organizations in Europe and America to further a cultural program in Palestine is being taken up, she said.
On the whole Mrs. Kohut found conditions in Europe better than when she visited there a year ago. The people are more hopeful, she said.
The Jewish Students’ House on the Campus of the University of Pennsyl vania will be re-opened for the new scholastic year next Thursday, according to an announcement made by Mrs. Robert S. Ginus. Chairman of the House Committee. The Students’ House is conducted under the auspices of the Philadelphia Branch of the United Synagogue of America.
Bernard Horwich, prominent Zionist and Communal leader of Chicago, was appointed by Mayor William Hale Thompson a member of the Policemen’s Pension and Retirement Board.
Rabbi Daniel L. Davis, formerly of Hammond Ind. was installed as rabbi of Congregation Shaarai Shamayim. Lancaster, Pa.
