Bruno Rossi, Victim of Italy’s Racial Laws, Joins Cornell Faculty

Dr. Bruno Rossi, one of Italy’s outstanding researchers on cosmic ray phenomena, has become a member of the Cornell University faculty at Ithaca, N.Y., Science Service reported today. He will continue his studies there with the rank of Associate Professor of Physics. Dr. Rossi left Italy some time ago because of the Fascist racial legislation. Last year he spent as research associate at the University of Chicago.
