Cabinet Ratifies Israel’s Preferential Trade Agreement with European Common Market

The Cabinet yesterday ratified Israel’s preferential trade agreement with the European Common Market countries that was signed June 29. The Cabinet authorized Foreign Minister Abba Eban to notify the European Economic Community that all procedures for the entry into force of the agreement have been completed. It is expected to become effective on Sept. 1.
