California’s Supreme Court dismissed claims that a judge advised prosecutors to turn away Jewish jurors in capital cases. John Quatman, a former deputy district attorney, said that the late Judge Stanley Golde advised him in 1987 to turn away Jewish jurors, saying they would never vote to execute.
