The Canadian Government will probably announce this week a more liberal immigration policy, it was learned today. It is believed that the gates will be opened gradually.
The Immigration Department has let it be known that it will admit to Canada a large number of German, Austrian, Italian and polish medical and chemical specialists who are “particularly qualified.”
