Captured by Russians in Hungarian Slave Labor Units Repatriated to Transylvania

The first group of Jewish repatriates from the (##)R. who were forced into Hungarian slave labor battalions during the war and (##)red on the Soviet front arrived in Transylvania yesterday. Hungarian Jewish reconizations have made repeated demands for their return.

Jews throughout Rumania today observed the sixth anniversary of the Jassy mas(##) during which some 14,000 Jews lost their lives. In Bucharest Chief Rabbi Alexander Shafran conducted the services which were followed by a mass meeting at which a resolution was adopted demanding a speedy trial of the persons responsible for the p(##)m.
