Cardinal Faulhaber has addressed a communication to Premier Stressman deploring the attacks on the Jews in Germany and pledging the “moral influence of the Catholic Church” against the perpetrators of these disorders. “The purblind hatred against our Israelite brethren” is denounced by the Cardinal as subversive to the Fatherland’s best interest.
