Chief Rabbi Eisenbech and President Janeui of the Jewish Consistory today headed a delegation of Jewish leaders calling upon Cardinal Verdier during a function marking the spiritual solidarity of the three great religions, held in connection with the National Eucharistic Congress here.

Replying to the Chief Rabbi’s address, Cardinal Verdier alluded to Jewish sufferings, declaring: “We will always be with you because we believe in the triumph of the rights of the individual, in family and social relations, and appeasement of international relations.”
