A few minutes before midnight last night, in the course of a farewell party given to Isak Chaimovic, special representative here of Israel, and head of the Jewish Agency offices here which are temporarily serving as an unofficial Israeli “consulate,” someone speaking in perfect English telephoned and repeated twice:

“A bomb will detonate in your building in five minutes. Clear everyone out.” The guest of honor and all the guests were ordered out of the structure to the street and the police were summoned. No bombs were found.
