A call for all Jewish chalutzim, pioneers with agricultural training, who hold immigration certificates to proceed to Palestine by the middle of February at the latest was issued here today by M. Dobkin, head of the immigration bureau of the Palestine Central Labor Federation.
More than 1,000 chalutzim left for Palestine in January, setting a record for the number of pioneers leaving for Palestine in one month, Dobkin stated. More than 740 chalutzim, including 365 from Germany, passed through Trieste and Constanza in January on their way to Palestine, Dobkin reported.
