Rabbi Moshe Avigdor Amiel, Chief Rabbi of the city of Tel-Aviv for the last nine years, and world Misrachi leader, died here last night, at the age of 67. He was the author of nine volumes of ecclesiastical works. Prior to coming to Palestine, he was Rabbi of Antwerp, Belgium from 1920. He was born in Porozowo, a small town near Vilna.
