(Jewish Daily Bulletin)
The dedication of the flagpole donated to the First Methodist Episcopal Church by Louis Goldman and a flag donated by the William Jennings Bryan Chapter of the Ku Klux Klan was held on Armistice Day. No disturbances occurred, despite the fact that violence had been threatened against the Rev Russell H. Bready, pastor of the Church, if he permitted Mgr. Patrick H. Dunnigan to deliver the dedicatory address.
Among the ten thousand persons were Protestants, Catholics and Jews.
