Honorary degrees of Doctor of Hebrew Letters were awarded to Professor William B. Kilpatrick, foremost American educator, on the occasion of his eightieth birthday; Arigdor Hameiri, leading Hebrew poet and author; and Professor Hissan Touroff, distinguished Hebrew educator and writer.
