Comay Named Israel’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations

Michael S. Comay, deputy chairman of Israel’s delegation to the current General Assembly at the United Nations, has been appointed as Israel’s permanent representative to the UN. In that post, he succeeds to one of the two top positions held by Abba Eban, who was, at the same time, Israel’s Ambassador to Washington.

Yosef Tekoah, Israel’s acting permanent representative to the United Nations, has been appointed Ambassador to Brazil.
