A survey of the 109,000 hectares recently allotted for Jewish settlement in the Crimea has been begun by a commission which left for the territory. On the commission are J. Golde and Glassman of the Comzet. the governmental department for Jewish land settlement; Mussanif of the Crimean Zik, and Kartchinof of the agricutural department.
Seed loans to collectives and individuals have been inaugurated by the Crimean government, states the “Ekonomitcheskaya Zhisn.” The settlers will be required to repay the loans either in seed or food products, with interest.
