A counter-demonstration, to offset the protest meeting that are being called for the same day by Jewish organizations against religious persecutions in Soviet Russia, is being called by New York Communists for Sunday, March 16, in the afternoon. The meeting will take place in the Bronx Coliseum, and according to the “Freiheit,” Yiddish Communist daily, it will include “a revolutionary mass-pageant which will depict the reconstruction work of Socialism in Soviet Russia.” Hundreds of workers, says the “Freiheit,” will take part in the pageant.
