Rep. Abraham J. Multer, Democrat of New York, today urged the United Nations to investigate charges of anti-Semitism in the Soviet Union.

In a letter to Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt, he said a Series of articles in the Scripps-Howard newspapers indicate “that the Soviet Government has apparently opened up a drive against Jews.” He suggested that the U.N. Commission on Human Rights, of which Mrs. Roosevelt is a member, look into the matter.
