The status of Jews in Cuba is critical due to current political conditions, according to Joseph Goodrich, who came from Havana Sunday aboard the United Fruit liner Veragua.
He is a member of the staff of the Havana Leiben, a Yiddish weekly, and will act as New York correspondent from now on, taking up residence in Brooklyn.
