The Emergency Tribunal today freed S.M. Kaplan, publisher, and Isidore Bochner, manager of Cuba’s only Yiddish publication in Cuba, the weekly Havaner Lebn. They were cleared of charges of printing anti-Government circulars after having been held in jail since March 29.
