Czech Jewish community leaders plan to commemorate the Holocaust with Gypsy leaders in Prague on Jan. 27. The joint commemoration is believed to be the first of its kind. Prague Jewish Community leader Tomas Jelinek said the Gypsies shared a similar wartime fate as Czech Jews.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
