Czechoslovakia Replies to U.S. Note on Americans Reportedly Flying Planes to Israel

The Foreign Ministry here today revealed that the echoslovak Government sent an answer to a U.S. note regarding American pilots flying planes from Czechoslovakia to Israel. “The reply must have dispersed all fears the U.S. Government,” the Foreign Ministry statement said.

The statement denied that the American note charged Czechoslovakia with exiting arms to Israel, It emphasized that the note dealt only “with the activity planes of American origin and American citizens.”
