Seven members of the Maccabee sports organization in this country were today awarded the Czechoslovak War Cross by the War Ministry for their activities in the resistance movement during the war.
The awards were conferred on the seven former partisans in the Jewish Town Hall here with leaders of the Jewish community participating. Tribute was paid to the Maccabee organization for the part its entire membership took in combatting the Paris throughout the occupation.
Meanwhile, it was announced here that Representative Adolph J. Sabath, veteran member of Congress from Illinois, has been named an honorary citizen of Zabori, his ?rthplace.
