About two tons of antiques and art treasures of the museum of the Danzig Jewish Community, which is now in liquidation, and also 51 Hebrew Scrolls of the Law have been sent to the United States under the care of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. The local synagogue building which was turned over to the Danzig Senate, will be demolished shortly. Its famous organ will be acquired by a church in Krakow, Poland.
