A daring daylight robbery was carried out on the Ben Yehuda Street branch of the Anglo-Palestine Bank today by several gangsters who drove up in a taxicab and stock L5,000. A similar robbery occurred in Jerusalem a month ago when L700 was taken from the Japhet Bank.
