Jewish personalities and organizations in the Argentine community hailed today the Yiddish daily newspaper “Di Presse” on the occasion of its 40th anniversary.
The newspaper, owned cooperatively by its employees, is one of two Yiddish dailies in this country. Its pages regularly carry contributions from noted Yiddish writers all over the world as well as the writings of leading Jewish journalists in this country. “Di Presse’s” circulation reflects a large and faithful following among Yiddish readers here.
