Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Jewish Congress, arrived here today for a week’s visit during which he will meet with Greek Jewish leaders and deal with a number of communal problems. He is also expected to meet with the Greek Premier.
Dr. Goldmann declared on his arrival that it will be the official future policy of the WJC and the World Zionist Organization to strengthen small communities. He announced that the board of directors of a foundation to succeed the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany will meet in Athens in 1965.
