Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, executive vice-president of the Israel Bond Organization, has been named the recipient of the Scopus Award, the highest honor of the American Friends of the Hebrew University. The action of the board of directors of the American Friends was announced today by Lionel R. Bauman, president, and Samuel Rothberg, chairman of the board. The award will be presented to Dr. Schwartz at a dinner in the Waldorf Astoria on December 1.
