Dr. Jacob Lestchinsky, the Jewish economist and publicist, who recently came here from Poland to take up permanent residence, will head the Economic Research Department of the World Jewish Congress, with headquarters in New York, Dr. Stephen S. Wise, chairman of the Executive Committee of the World Congress, cabled from London to the American Jewish Congress. Dr. Lestchinsky is a member of the administrative committee of the world congress.
