One of the greatest zoologists in Poland is Dr. M. Tennenbaum, director of the Jewish high school for boys “Le’Or.” Dr. Tennenbaum is recognized as one of the leading zoological authorities in Europe. In recent years he headed a number of scientific expeditions abroad for the Polish government.
He brought back with him many rare specimens of animals, fish and birds which have been placed on exhibition in the government zoological museum of Warsaw, one of the largest of its kind in all Europe.
