Druze Rebellion Holds Up Syriopalestine Frontier Negotiations

The work of the British-French Commission to rectify the Syrio-Palestine frontier will have to be postponed until the Druze rebellion is ended, it was learned here today.

An important point in the negotiations of this Commission was the region of Deraa, which is claimed by both countries. This region is at present an important military base for the French and they find themselves unable to consider the British claim.

Samuel S. Koenig was upheld as the New York County Republican Committee by a vote of 2,692 to 124 at a meeting of the Committee in Terrace Garden on Thursday.

The opening of the Bezalel exhibil at Grand Central Palace, New York. took place Saturday everting, Feb. ruary 20th, instead of Sunday as previously announced.The Exhibition will last until March 7th.
