An earthquake which destroyed several buildings in northern Palestine and drove the inhabitants of Tel Aviv from their homes occurred over the week-end according to London broadcasts reported by the Office of War Information today.
The earth tremors were felt in Jerusalem, Haifa, Tel Aviv, Tiberias, Nablus and Nazareth, the broadcasts said. In Jenin, in the northern part of the country, many buildings were destroyed.
