Ed Libov, Philanthropist and Ad Executive, Dies at 51

Funeral services were held today for Jewish Philanthropist and advertising executive Ed Libov who died of a heart attack Monday at his home in Manhattan. He was 51 years old.

Active in various Jewish organizations, Libov was a founder of the Mediterranean-Dead Sea project for generating electric power in Israel. He was involved in Israel Bond drives and the United Jewish Appeal.
