The Rector of the University of Cologne, acting upon orders from the Minister of Education, today withdrew his instructions to members of the faculty, according to which all American Jewish students seeking to enter the class rooms were to be told there was no room left.
The order of the Minister of Education applies to American Jewish students who were permitted to register at the University but who were refused places when they arrived in the class rooms.
