Efraim Zuroff has stepped up efforts to extradite an alleged Croatian war criminal living in Austria. The Simon Wiesenthal Center’s top Nazi hunter met this week with Croatian Attorney General Mladen Bajic and Deputy Attorney General Antun Kvakan to discuss Croatian efforts to prosecute Milivoj Asner, who was a chief for the fascist Ustasha police during World War II.
