Egypt may post 4,000 troops on its border with Israel to prevent arms smuggling to Palestinian terrorists. Israeli sources said Thursday that talks are under way with Cairo on the proposed deployment, which effectively would do away with a clause in the 1979 Camp David peace accord requiring that the Sinai Desert be demilitarized.
