Eight lawmakers are calling on President Bush not to pressure Israel on the security fence. In a letter to the president, Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) and the other legislators said the pressure placed on Israel is misdirected and that the fence is based on Israel’s need to prevent Palestinian terrorism.
