President Eisenhower today evaded a question about his discussion of Near Eastern topics, including the Arab-Israel situation, with Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

Asked at his press conference if any specific agreements were reached on the Arab-Israel problem, the Suez issue, and other regional matters, the President indicated that he considered his discussion of these problems as of a confidential nature.
