Elect 180 Jewish Councillors in Polish Districts

One hundred and eighty Jewish councillors were elected in the municipal elections which took place this week in the district of Wolyn.

In several towns the Jewish population elected a greater number of councillors than the Polish, Russian and Ukrainian groups. In cities like Rowne, Dubno, Kowel, Luck and Kremienec, the population is predominantly Jewish.
