Elkan Myers Elected President of Baltimore Red Cross

Elkan R. Myers, the first Jew in Baltimoze to be so honored, has been elected chairman of the Baltimore chapter of the American Red Cross, it was announced here. Mr. Myers, who is currently president of the Associated Jewish Charities, was elected to his new post at a special meeting of about 75 members of the Red Cross board of directors.
