A spokesman for the Mapai-Achdut Avoda alignment expressed optimism today over the prospects that Premier Levi Eshkol could form a narrow coalition soon, possibly excluding the National Religious Party. Other sources indicated that a meeting yesterday between religious bloc leaders and Premier Eshkol and alignment leaders, which was devoted to economic matters, was completely unsatisfactory.
