It became known today that David Frankfurter, confessed slayer of Wilhelm Gustloff, Swiss Nazi leader, will probably be defended by Eugen Curti, well known Zurich advocate.
The trial will take place in the town of Chur, Canton Grisons, in about two months. Police meanwhile are conducting an exhaustive investigation.
A Berlin report had quoted Reichsfuehrer Hitler’s Voelkischer Beobachter as stating that Frankfurter’s attorney would be Dr. Lurie of Bruenn, Czechoslovakia, whom the paper described as a member of the Communist International.
