“Miniature pogroms” have become a commonplace and almost a regular feature in Jassy, according to reports the “Auroa” published here.

Hooligans have lately taken to the practice of barring the way of Jews seeking relief from the heat in the public parks.

Sabbath seems to be particularly favored by hooligans for their brutalities. On Friday evening last anti-Semitic student disciples of Cuza, the fanatical professor, surrounded the municipal park and shouting “death to the Jews” blocked the entrance of Jews.
