New Jewish agricultural co-operatives have been founded in the Carpatho-Russian section of Czechoslovakia with special credits advanced by the Jewish Colonization Association (ICA).

Social representatives of the organization went to Carpatho-Russia and purchased hundreds of cattle and thousands of fruit trees for the new co-operatives.

At the same time a Jewish delegation from Munkacevo, Carpatho-Russian capital, visited Ivan Derer, Czechoslovakian Minister of Education, and discussed with him the economic, social and cultural needs of the Jews of the region.
