The National Synod of the French Reformist Church today issued a statement calling on the French Government to all aid to the new state of Israel and to help “protect the Jewish people from war.”
Asserting that it is not necessary to accept the religious arguments for the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine, the statement declared that “we are revolted that the state of Israel, which has hardly been established, has already been attacked.”
