Count Folke Bernadotte’s murder evidences the “total insolvency” of the Israeli Government to keep order in regions entrusted to it, quarters close to the French Foreign Office said today.

Regarding the murder of Col. Andre P. Serot, the Foreign Office does not intend to officially protest against the killing by Jewish extremists. Col. Serot saved the lives of many German Jews during the German occupation of France, a Foreign Office spokesman emphasized.
